An auction arranged by Phila China auction house of Hong Kong sold Kung-Fu movies icon’s jacket for HK$600,000(77,000 USD). Many other Lee items were sold in the auction for a total more than $217,000. Bruce Lee wore the flamboyant fur-lined blue jacket in his incomplete movie ‘Game of Death’ as well as at the premier of his famous movie ‘Enter the Dragon’. Mr. Bean , real name Rowan Atkinson wrecked his limited edition Mclaren F1 in a car crash in eastern England near a village named Haddon. Rowan Atkinson is a car enthusiast and owns many other unique cars including a 1964 Ford Falcon, a 1980s Aston Martin V8 Zagato, an Audi A8, a 1958 AC Bristol and a Honda Civic Hybrid.Yesterday he was driving his limited edition Mclaren F1 on friday when he spun out and hit a tree. He got away with a minor shoulder injury but his car is wrecked. The Mclaren is sent for the rebuilt to the factory. The Mclaren he drove was one of the just 106 F1′s built by McLaren from 1993-98. It was the first production road car built with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Though he bought it in 650,000 pounds, but a similar F1 was sold in an auction in London for $4 million in 2008. A movie which recently set a record for the biggest opening day with $92.1 million, is closing in on the staggering $1 billion mark just after 2 weeks of its release. The movie has made $926 million so far and is expected to reach $1 billion milestone this weekend. Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 will be the first one of its franchise to reach the milestone exceeding Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’s $974.8 million mark. currently nine films have made it to $1 billion mark, so it’ll be the tenth movie to reach $1 billion . Only one movie “Avatar” has made it to $2 billion so far. Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 is currently going at a tremendous pace and will certainly cross the $1 billion mark, but is it going to become the biggest blockbuster? let’s wait and see.
