They were able to make a flying machine from 16 rotors placed around a seat where a man can sit and fly. The German inventors has named this multicopter, as E-volo. E-volo the multicopter weighs only 80 kg and consists of 16 rotors, which are powered by lithium ion batteries. The German engineers were able to make a flying machine which can fly in the air for 20 minutes using its Li-ion batteries. Though its longest flight was 1 minute and 30 secs only. But Stephan, Thomas and Alex, which were able to make a flying machine in few years, hope that it will be able to fly for longer than an hour, and it will be able to replace the helicopters for good.
