The game has a multiplayer mode. It is a dungeons and dragons game with four chapters and different storyline. You can create your own dungeons with the help of toolset and enjoy the game by running the story by your own. Combat is handed simply. GameSpot referred to it as “one of those exceedingly rare games that has a lot to offer virtually everyone, even if they aren’t already into RPGs” and gamepro has appreciated its graphics and said them “gorgeous”. It’s at number 10 spot in our list of top 10 RPGs.

9. Star wars: knight of old republic

On number 9 of top ten RPG games, it’s Star wars: Knight of old republic. Fight your way across as Jedi or various other characters of Star wars with great force powers. The unique aspect of the combat system is its rounds. You can have conversations with the other characters in the game and take control of the situations by your decision making power.

Mass effect was a large success. It sold 1.3 million copies within one month of its release.
The next on our top 10 RPG games list is Mass Effect 2.It’s a science fiction adventure. With commander shepherd, you will lost into a world based on future and galaxies. It has six different character classes. You can gain points with the assignments and projects along with two other friends of your small army. It’s not easy to defeat enemies as they are protected by shields, and armors. It’s a fantastic game with great graphics. Though it is a sequel of Mass effect, but because of better gameplay, it’s at number 8 spot of our top 10 PC RPG list.

7. Fall out III

It was a great hit and 4.7 million copies of the game were sold. It has a brand new story. The game is based on the destructive future with bombs, tanks and heavy weapons in United States. The game starts with the birth of the character you play and it’s his journey in search of his father as he/she grows up. You can deal with every situation in different ways. You can interact with the different inhabitants and give them orders. Combat is turn-based with action point system. You can develop your player’s character by attributes, skills, traits and perks. 18 different skills make the game more interesting. The story is unique with different features you’ll surely enjoy playing it

6. Planescape:Torment

It sets in Planescape. The player is a nameless character who fails to remember his past and cant die. In the game you search out for clues to reveal your past along the way the other characters joins his army .The only way to death is the burning of the “The nameless one’s “body!

The game was a success and 2 million copies were sold. Different and unique story has made this game very popular and still people love it.

5. Dragon age origins

It’s my personal favorite and one of the most successful role-playing games. Dragon age is deep and complex. It takes place in Ferelden. You can choose from a human, Elf and dwarf in order to create your character. You command other four members of the group as well. All the characters have their spells and other weapons.

Bioware describes Dragon Age: Origins as a “dark heroic fantasy set in a unique world’
It sold over 3.2 copies worldwide and received several awards due to its popularity it is placed in number 5 of the countdown.

4. Final Fantasy VII

It has sold 10 million copies of the game which is huge. Final Fantasy VII tells the story of a young mercenary named Cloud who joins the a rebel organization Avalanche to stop the corporation Shinra and save world !

The game consists of three areas: field maps, overworld map and a battle screen. Battles are fought in Japanese style with your team on one side and enemies on other. The characters have complex magic and other weapons and armors.Each character has their limit breaks with four levels of strength. It’s one of the best role playing games ever and I’ve placed it at number 4 spot of our top 10 RPGs of all time.

3. Diablo II (2000)

It’s a simple game with 3D graphics, dark atmosphere, corrupt monsters, and different imaginary magic items. It has both single and multiplayer mode.

It has four chapters and three levels. The hardcore character has only one life. It was released in 2000 and within two weeks, 1 million copies were sold. By August 29, 2001, Diablo II has sold 4 million copies worldwide and has huge fans.

2. The elder scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006)

Oblivion is a single-player game set in Cyrodiil. It has a rich storyline. You can create your own character and free to do anything like visiting the different towns, break into someone’s home and rob them in their sleep, buy a house, steal a house and much more. when you get more powerful and health you’ll obtain better weapons, armor and spells to kill monsters. You can also improve your health by potions and spells. The combat system of the game is great. The game is really huge and never-ending. Oblivion was a big success and received many awards.3 million copies of the Oblivion have sold by January 2007. If it wasn’t for Chrono Trigger’s great reception and revolutionary gameplay of its time, Oblivion would’ve topped our list of Top 10 RPGs of all time.

Chrono trigger was a commercial success and the best selling game of the 1995. The game has sold around
2.36 million copies worldwide.Strong script, beautiful storytelling! it’s just a game that feels amazingly alive.

It was released in Japan for the Super Nintendo Entertainment on March 11, 1995. The story is about a guy Chrono and his group of friends who are on an adventure to prevent the end of the world. They fight evil for the bright and better future.

The gameplay is revolutionary and creative and with multiple endings, attracts the player itself. One of the most unique feature of the game is its concept of different time travel, The players can access to seven different time periods of history.

Dual and tech are two different combos, each character has.13 endings with different modes makes game more interesting. The ratings and popularity among everyone gives this game the first place in top ten RPGs of all the times.
