Samsung unveiled its next galaxy phone at London’s Earl’s Court last night, a launch party similar to the traditional iPhone launch events. The launch ceremony of the Samsung Galaxy SIII was able to grab attention of tech enthusiasts and media all around the globe. Samsung Galaxy SIII will also be the official phone for the Olympics 2012. Samsung Galaxy SIII has not only come up with good hardware specs as most of the Android phones been like, it presented an Android phone as a package with good hardware and new and cool software additions.

These specs are a little different from the rumored specs many of the enthusiasts were hoping for, i.e it has an 8.0 MP camera instead of a 12.0 MP rear camera. But Samsung Galaxy SIII is still a great device and as Jason Jenkins, editor of Cnet UK, said :”it made the iPhone look a little like yesterday’s model”.

As pointed out earlier Samsung Galaxy S3 came up with more than just a piece of hardware and the presentation was more focused on discussing the new features it has introduced for the first time as a Galaxy phone. Samsung Galaxy SIII‘s most innovative feature is built in face tracking and voice control which allows, a more ‘natural’ control system. The voice control feature is named as S voice which is similar to iPhone’s Siri voice control feature.
Another Cool feature is Smart Stay, it detects your eyes and the display stays bright as long as you look at the phone. Other smart features include direct call, smart alert and social tag. Direct call enable you to call a contact if you lift up phone to your ear during messaging. Smart alert lets you know about the missed calls or unread messages if you’ve been away from your Samsung Galaxy SIII. Social Tag uses advance face detection technology to tag photos of your friends.
